Get to know Cardiologist Dr. Anand Balachandran, who serves patients in Huntsville, Alabama.

As a board-certified and fellowship-trained cardiologist, Dr. Balachandran’s areas of specialization include coronary artery disease, cardiac arrhythmias, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, peripheral artery disease, congestive heart failure, and other cardiac conditions. He started offering comprehensive cardiology services at the Heart and Vascular Clinic in Huntsville, Alabama in 2016. Throughout his academic career, Dr. Balachandran graduated from Kannur University in India in 2005. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed his residency at The Brooklyn Medical Center, where he was appointed chief resident for the residency program. Thereafter, he went on to complete his fellowship training at Weill Cornell Medical Center and at Mount Sinai-Beth Israel-Brooklyn Hospital Center, graduating as chief fellow.
